About the position

The Retail Merchandising Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring effective sales floor merchandising, inventory management, and customer service. This position involves leading a team, executing merchandising strategies, and maintaining store operations to create an inviting shopping environment. The supervisor is expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills while fostering a collaborative and inclusive retail culture.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate passion for Sales Floor Merchandising and Signage Standards.
• Manage inventory controls including Zero Balance, Return to Vendor, and Cross Channel Returns.
• Execute product activities such as truck unloading, sorting, and stocking.
• Implement Weekly Planograms and seasonal promotional merchandising changes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and engage with customers effectively.
• Maintain a neat and clean store environment for customers.
• Perform front end responsibilities including cashier duties and online reservations.
• Provide store leadership as the 'Manager on Duty' when scheduled.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in merchandising and retail operations.
• Ability to manage and coach a team or supervise others.
• Strong customer engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively with limited supervision.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull materials in the 100-pound range and climb ladders.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
• Conflict management skills in a nonconfrontational manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
