About the position

As a member of the Overnight Stock Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store is well-stocked and organized for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and maintaining recovery standards throughout the store. You will be expected to deliver friendly customer service, assisting customers in locating products and providing solutions to their shopping needs. A fast and friendly checkout experience is essential, and you will be responsible for executing cash handling procedures to company standards. In addition to customer service, you will engage customers about the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, completing enrollments as necessary. Educating customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey will also be part of your role. You will assist with omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will also include participating in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes. You will be responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance, including handling merchandise returns and ensuring the store is well-merchandised and in-stock. Performing Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements. Interacting with customers and team members in a respectful and positive manner is essential, even in challenging situations. You will promote a commitment to the organization's vision and values, serving as a role model for other team members. Cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production may also be required, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
