About the position

EquipmentShare is searching for an experienced Retail Sales Manager for our rental facility in Phoenix, AZ to support our team as it continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting, monitoring, developing, and driving retail sales operations
  • Responsible for monitoring and ensuring that each retail sales representative has a daily plan, knows their objectives and are actively engaging all retail prospects in a professional and timely manner
  • Develops and implements sales strategies and plans to meet revenue goals
  • Prepare regular reports and conducts monthly meetings to review sales performance with each sales representative
  • Track market trends and competitor activity within region
  • Manage sales team in order to maximize revenue to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Works with sales team to help develop sales strategies to ensure sales growth and market share
  • Monitor sales team to ensure company policies are being adhered to and provide disciplinary action when needed
  • Work with Retail Sales Support Manager and individual salesmen to maintain and monitor inventory levels of all retail equipment at assigned retail locations
  • Support retail sales team by addressing inquiries and concerns and addressing their needs and requests
  • Responsible for recruitment, interviewing, and staffing processes at each assigned location
  • Coordinate and schedule individual training sessions with manufacturer account representatives for sales staff
  • Monitor quarterly sales performance of salesmen and report progress monthly and quarterly to your appropriate managers
  • Review all sales quotes for accuracy prior to salesmen presenting to customer
  • Ensures all post sale requirements are met

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in B2B sales in construction related industry
  • A drive to provide fantastic customer service experience
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Industry knowledge (rental or construction equipment) and experience in B2B sales is preferred, but not required
