The manager will work collaboratively with field leadership to achieve company objectives and will be responsible for the hiring, training, and performance management of store employees. In this role, the Retail Store Manager will engage in regular communication with field leadership to ensure alignment on store performance and directives. They will conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with sales representatives to enhance their performance and ensure that all employees are fully trained. The manager will also be responsible for managing attrition through key performance indicators and will participate in regular field leadership meetings to provide updates and feedback on store performance. The position requires a high level of business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and drive sales representatives to meet client expectations. Additionally, the manager must be flexible to work weekends and travel as required, demonstrating a commitment to the role and the company’s goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of in-store execution within the assigned store, including staffing, scheduling, customer engagement, sales, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Establish and maintain critical relationships with field leadership to ensure communication continuity and adoption of directives.
  • Deliver required sales productivity and guest experience through performance management and engagement via one-on-one coaching.
  • Ensure employee satisfaction through progressive employee engagement and manage attrition through key performance indicators.
  • Interview and hire high-quality full and part-time Sales Representatives.
  • Participate in regular field leadership meetings and provide regular reports to field leadership.
  • Ensure all employees in the store are fully trained and participate in required sales training personally.
  • Provide feedback on current store performance and derive a plan of action for future progress.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 3-5 years of training, sales, account management, or related experience required.
  • 2+ years of retail management experience required.
  • Specialty retail management experience required.
  • Proven record as a leader and store manager.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High level of business acumen.
  • Proven ability to train and develop subordinates.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and travel when required.
  • Proficient in all MS Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
