About The Position

This position is responsible for coordinating the processing of returns for customers, technicians, and business partners, ensuring that all corporate inventory processes are followed and that documentation is completed accurately. The role requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to manage returns efficiently and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Typically 1 or more years of related experience.
• Preferred knowledge of Customer Service/Warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Process customer returns accurately and within department guidelines.
• Move returned merchandise to various locations within the department using a hand pallet jack/cart.
• Determine the disposition of returned products to ensure the highest ROI and separate them appropriately.
• Communicate professionally and clearly via phone and email to customers, technicians, FSCs, and business partners.
• Demonstrate good problem-solving and strong follow-up skills to make sound decisions based on provided information.
• Accurately process, pack, and document products shipping back to the business partner for credit or replacement.
• Maintain controlled interface with internal customers and departments (A/P, Merchandising, Shipping, etc.) and keep records of significant interactions.
• Act as a company representative when contacting business partners to obtain return authorization (RA) for warranty/not needed/core returns.
• Maintain shared and personal spreadsheets with fellow returns TSMs.
• Verify correct item code, lot number, expiration date, and tie back to the original purchase order.
• Provide regular reporting to management on various product and vendor information.
• Receive, process, and create monthly transfers of inventory to and from core DCs.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
• Process technician and branch overstock returns.
