About the position

The Revenue Analyst position at Wheaton | Bekins involves providing administrative support within the Revenue Accounting department. This hybrid role focuses on reviewing shipping documents, coordinating freight bills, and ensuring accurate revenue distribution. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review shipping documents to determine services, charges, and revenue distribution.
• Coordinate and send freight bills/invoices with supporting documentation.
• Forward list of orders for Post Audit handling.
• Follow up on aging orders and missing documentation.
• Assist manager with communicating processing deadlines to the team.
• Assist with onboarding new drivers.
• Analyze paperwork to determine billed charges and distribute revenue accordingly.
• Process audits for each shipment type, including those with multiple drivers.
• Recalculate mileage, weights, and other figures based on tariffs and agreements.
• Input appropriate charges in the computer for billing and revenue distribution.
• Upload order notes and manage agent bill approvals.
• Communicate with agents, drivers, and corporate employees to resolve discrepancies.
• Document communication in order comments.
• Review paperwork for substantiation of services and prepare invoices for customers.
• Meet specific deadlines for agent/driver payments and contract requirements.
• Identify and manage document visibility for uploaded documents.
• Document reasons for credit and balance due amounts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of office experience.
• Data entry and math skills.
• Good verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Experience in an AS400 environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
