About the position

The Revenue Analyst position is an entry-level role focused on tracking the company's revenue and managing outstanding projects and receivables. This role is designed for accounting professionals looking to gain experience in a large-scale finance department, collaborating closely with various stakeholders including Accounts Receivable Specialists, the Controller, and Project Managers. The position emphasizes customer service, attention to detail, and accuracy in reporting within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Gather information and research data to collect on accounts.
  • Organize and analyze data to produce reports that will help with tracking a project's payment history.
  • Monitor and resolve partially paid projects and/or accounts.
  • Work effectively with Project Managers both internally and externally.
  • Call customers with past due outstanding balances and establish client follow-ups.
  • Take meticulous notes on the status of customer balances.
  • Work with AR Specialist to effectively collect outstanding balances.
  • Prepare lien releases for Senior Management review and sign-off.
  • Compile and escalate customer questions to the appropriate Management team member.
  • Research and file NTO or Bonding Letters.
  • Manage customer payment methods such as checks, credit card, ACH, wires, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business discipline.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relations with internal management and external customers.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with extreme attention to detail.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Customer service attitude.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to read and write in English to process paperwork and communicate with clients and internal customers.
