Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain financial systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement system enhancements and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage system upgrades, testing, and process automation.
  • Document and maintain system reference materials.
  • Ensure data accuracy across financial systems and databases.
  • Conduct audits and reconcile financial transactions.
  • Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting.
  • Partner with finance and operations to align revenue strategies.
  • Train and support finance and accounting teams on system functionality.
  • Participate in special projects, including system implementations and financial analysis initiatives.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in billing and invoicing processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure revenue recognition aligns with accounting policies.
  • Monitor and improve system performance post-implementation.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to revenue and financial health.

Requirements

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across departments and organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
  • Proactive communication with management on progress, issues, and developments.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new skills and tools.
  • Effective written and verbal communicator; ability to read cursive writing.
  • Capable of working both independently and within team environments.
  • Aderant experience is required, including implementing and updating clients and matters, setting billing rates, and managing the billing process.
  • Familiarity with Billblast, AS400 (Surepoint), and Minisoft ARCS is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency, including data entry, formatting, and basic formulas (e.g., SUM), sorting, filtering, and layout adjustments, and creating/modifying pivot tables.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent military/professional experience considered).
