About the position

The Revenue Cycle Business Analyst at Baptist Health's Physician Billing Office is responsible for providing analytical support and consultation to leadership regarding various components of the revenue cycle. This full-time position involves creating and maintaining departmental scorecards and dashboards, analyzing revenue cycle issues, and recommending modifications to improve productivity and efficiency. The role also includes project management responsibilities to facilitate ongoing operations and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical insight for all reporting specific to the revenue cycle area.
• Create and maintain departmental scorecards, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting using various source systems.
• Determine the root cause of revenue cycle problems and questionable variations.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership to develop corrective action plans as needed.
• Recommend modifications to established practices and procedures to support optimal productivity and efficiency.
• Work with internal customers to ensure newly implemented workflows and procedures are maintained to achieve financial goals.
• Create, facilitate, implement, and evaluate project plans for ongoing operations and improvements.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of Patient Financial Services Experience
• 3-5 Years of Physician Billing/Follow-up Experience
• 3-5 Years of Customer Service Experience
• 3-5 Years of Hospital Experience
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
