About the position

Under direction of the Revenue Systems Assistant Manager (RSAM), responsible for implementation, configuration and maintenance of revenue systems including Point of Sales (POS), Online Sales, and Integrated Financial Systems. Be a subject matter expert on the company's revenue systems. Works closely with the rest of IT in maintaining infrastructure critical for Revenue Systems uptime.

Responsibilities

  • Support Accounting staff in system configuration and maintenance to align with company goals.
  • Keep current with changes, updates and upgrades on revenue, point of sale, and related IT systems.
  • Oversee and coordinate troubleshooting, installing, maintaining and repairing a variety of systems, and equipment including POS and related systems.
  • Monitor and maintain company PCI DSS compliance.
  • Operate company vehicles and other support equipment including forklifts, motorized carts and personnel lifts.
  • Maintain system performance records, logs and troubleshooting tips.
  • Execute preventative maintenance routines for POS and Revenue system hardware.
  • Keep patches and software on POS machines up to date.
  • Maintain documentation for Revenue Systems best practices.
  • Assist RSAM with research and recommended purchase of needed equipment.
  • Serve on inter department task forces and committees.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with outside vendors and employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or at least 5 years of experience managing information systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following technical fields: Point of Sales administration, accounting, database systems.
  • Strong understanding of basic and intermediate accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated propensity for continued training, learning and growth in various revenue systems as well as other relevant IT systems.
  • Experience in maintaining large scale, multi departmental technology projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with company revenue collection systems and how they impact company accounting.
  • Familiarity with the principles of project planning, disaster recovery, system organization and management.
  • Ability to supervise, train, and motivate staff.
  • Ability to keep abreast of changes in technology for POS, accounting revenue flow, and related systems and recommend those that would benefit the company.
  • Ability to champion teamwork, coordinate and facilitate work within the team and between departments.
