About the position

We are currently seeking ISO 17025 Regulatory Compliance RF Test Engineers to join our team at CT, Arizona's oldest and largest regulatory compliance test lab. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, including retired test engineers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Regulatory Test Engineer in RF, particularly in RF Testing, Radiated, Conducted Emissions, and Immunity EMC/EMI. Our lab tests electronic devices to FCC CE ISED test standards, and we are looking for individuals who want to be part of a growing team and make a long-term impact in the industry. As a key member of the RF Subject Matter Expert (SME) test team, you will have numerous opportunities for growth and promotion in your career path. You will work closely with the Lab Manager and Lab Supervisor, supporting the Technical Sales Team and contributing to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities

  • Perform testing to regulatory standards on a wide variety of devices
  • Support Technical Sales Team in validating test standards and generating test plans
  • Participate in ongoing quarterly tech trainings
  • Prepare and oversee internal and external projects
  • Troubleshoot failing devices
  • Maintain record keeping and test data entry on projects
  • Interact with clients throughout the testing process
  • Answer general questions regarding our test scope
  • Understand and apply knowledge of FCC parts and EU RED and EMC Directives

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of prior RF Testing experience at a Regulatory TIC ISO 17025 Test Lab or similar environment
  • Ability to legally work in the United States or have a clear path to do so within 30 to 60 days
  • High detail-oriented and accuracy focused
  • Effective listening, communication, and logic skills
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, and other business tools
  • Strong accountability, integrity, character, and ethics

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with EMC/EMI testing
  • Familiarity with industry associations such as GCF, PTCRB, CTIA, Wi-Fi Alliance, BT SIG, LoRa Alliance
  • Knowledge of additional FCC rule parts
