About The Position

GovCIO is seeking an Information System Security Engineer to support federal customers with Cyber compliance functions. This hybrid remote position will involve managing a multi-tenant AWS environment, ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53, and implementing security measures to protect program data, systems, and networks.

Requirements

• High School diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience or commensurate experience.
• Clearance Required: Secret, with eligibility to upgrade to TS.
• Required certification: CISSP.
• Willingness to travel to the Milestone office in Hanover, MD once or twice weekly.

Responsibilities

• Function as part of the RMF team managing a multi-tenant AWS environment.
• Lead accreditations ensuring NIST 800-53 implementation.
• Coordinate patching, vulnerability remediation, and STIGing for assigned programs.
• Plan, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of program data, systems, and networks.
• Ensure that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected and that security is accurately documented.
