About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) Evening Supervisor at The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is responsible for overseeing the nursing unit, ensuring quality care for residents, and managing both licensed and non-licensed staff. This role involves administrative duties, quality assurance, and coordination of nursing services, while also providing leadership and support to the nursing team.

Requirements

• Must have a current RN license for the state of practice.
• 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a sub-acute, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility preferred.
• Completion of post-secondary education and ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance as required.
• Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish this position.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting as necessary.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of licensed and non-licensed staff, including counseling, disciplinary actions, evaluations, and in-service training.
• Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing unit.
• Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies.
