About the position

As a Registered Nurse Manager in a long-term care facility, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of care provided to residents. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to plan, organize, develop, and oversee the overall operations of the Nursing Department. Additionally, you will guide clinical matters and oversee the training, education, and implementation of best clinical practices, ensuring that the nursing team is well-equipped to provide high-quality care. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to plan, organize, develop, and oversee the Nursing Department's overall operation.

Requirements

  • A current RN license.
  • Proven supervisory/management experience in long-term care.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations.
  • Strong skills in business and financial management.
  • The ability to set and achieve ambitious goals for yourself and your team.
  • A commitment to continuous coaching, training, and development of a high-quality nursing team.
