About the position

The Surgical/Medical Intensive Care Unit (SICU/MICU) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing position in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is crucial for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in an acute care hospital setting. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires a strong background in intensive care nursing, with a focus on both surgical and medical patients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in either the MICU or SICU. The RN will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, and will be compensated at a competitive rate of $2,109 per week, with additional per diem allowances for lodging and meals. In this role, the RN will be expected to perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, and provide education and support to patients and their families. The position also involves the use of advanced medical equipment and technology, requiring the nurse to be proficient in various clinical procedures and protocols. The RN will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement in patient care. Responsibilities

Requirements
