At Summit Health CityMD, we are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our OBGYN team in Avon, CT. In this role, you will assist the physician and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and physician access. You will function as a liaison between patients, staff, and physicians, maintaining efficient patient flow and delivering direct patient care within the scope of your licensure and in accordance with Starling Physicians policy. Your responsibilities will include collecting lab specimens, prioritizing patient care by implementing physician orders, ensuring proper preparation for patient visits, and effectively communicating any issues to the Office Supervisor/Manager. You will also be responsible for obtaining vital signs, administering injections, scheduling appointments, and maintaining logs for emergency equipment. To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to perform diverse work assignments with time limitations, and proficiency with department-specific equipment. You will also be expected to assist in ordering and maintaining supplies, demonstrating flexibility with various work schedules, and performing other duties as required.
