RN Per Diem II- ICU

We are searching for an EXPERIENCED RN for the ICU. One plus years of experience required. The position is for a Level II per diem nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA, requiring availability for a minimum of twenty (20) hours each week, including six (6) weekend shifts and every other holiday.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit.
• Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One plus years of experience required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt.
