About the position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Supervisor to lead our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction trades and demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers on-site.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
• Oversee tasks such as frame carpentry, masonry, drywall installation, tile laying, stucco application, and welding.
• Fabricate components as needed and ensure proper plumbing throughout the project.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of various construction trades including frame carpentry, masonry, drywall, tile laying, stucco application, welding, and plumbing.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A commitment to safety practices on the job site.
