Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year or more of service experience in a fine dining outlet or room service.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, staff, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver menu items to hotel guest rooms efficiently and with a sense of urgency.
• Fully understand the menu and wine list, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Use the POS system efficiently to process orders and payments.
• Communicate directly and consistently with the culinary and management teams.
• Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding service and products.
• Perform opening and closing duties as well as side work necessities.
• Maintain effective communication with room service order takers.
• Transport trays weighing up to 40lbs through crowded areas during shifts.
