About The Position

As an RRT in the NICU/PICU, you will be integral to delivering high-quality respiratory care to critically ill pediatric patients. Your role involves utilizing your expertise in airway management, patient assessment, and ventilator support, while working in a Level IV NICU. This position requires a commitment to providing safe and effective care to neonates and pediatric patients across various inpatient units.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Pediatric critical care or NICU.
• Active BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications at the time of submission.
• RRT certification required.
• Experience with Servo vent systems (Servo I and Servo U).
• Knowledge of invasive and non-invasive ventilation techniques.
• Familiarity with EPIC medical terminology and systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LTV's (Astral and Trilogy) and oscillators.
• Knowledge of CPAP, PiPAP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, and PEP.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to critically ill pediatric patients in the NICU and PICU.
• Utilize expertise in airway management and patient assessment.
• Provide ventilator support and manage various respiratory therapies.
• Care for neonates through pediatric patients in multiple settings including PICU, CICU, NICU, ED, and general pediatrics.
• Work with a range of patients including micro-preemies, chronic and acute patients, and trauma cases.
