Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of college or equivalent education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred.
  • Current state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Life insurance license required by the state of Colorado.
  • Ability to pass the Company's internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to drive frequently and maintain an insurance license if required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the sales industry for 2 years (preferred).
  • Life Insurance License (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Serve client families by making at-need cemetery arrangements and selling pre-need arrangements.
  • Prospect for new clients for a minimum of 1-2 hours each day.
  • Obtain referrals from families served by the location.
  • Network and build community and civic relationships.
  • Explain and present services to families served and referred families.
  • Maintain and track activity levels to ensure productivity.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Connect with families through listening and honest communication.
  • Develop an understanding of each family's unique needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Stay in touch with families to ensure satisfaction and follow up on requests.
  • Build trust-based relationships to earn referrals.
  • Collaborate with funeral directors and other staff to provide seamless service.
