About the position

The Sales and Operations Manager at Mobile Attic Moving and Storage is responsible for overseeing the operations of three portable storage facilities. This role involves managing a small team of remote employees, focusing on sales and business development, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The manager will lead hiring and training efforts, resolve customer issues, and maintain operational excellence across the facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operations of three portable storage facilities.
• Manage a small team of remote employees and perform sales with a focus on business development.
• Lead associates in hiring, firing, coaching, accountability, and policy adherence.
• Ensure employees are quoting customers correctly and managing refunds and credits appropriately.
• Increase customer satisfaction by resolving issues and implementing remedial training.
• Respond to leads and customers in a timely manner, including after hours.
• Perform outside sales and cold calling.
• Oversee dispatch operations with a focus on efficiency.
• Manage and maintain all corporate-owned assets within the territory.
• Ensure all checklist/reports are completed and maintain organized storage centers.
• Perform monthly parts inventory reconciliation.

Requirements

• College Degree Required (Preferably in a Business Related Field)
• 3 Years of Management Experience Preferred
• 3 Years of Sales / Customer Service Experience Preferred
• Management of Remote Employees a Plus
• Call Center Management Experience a Plus
• Experience in Dispatch, Logistics, or Transportation is a Plus
• Valid Drivers License Required
• Typing Speed over 45 wpm Required
• Tech Savvy and Familiar with using a Variety of Software (CRM, Excel, Google Suites, Fleet Management Software, etc.)
• Mechanical Ability and Experience Operating Various Equipment (such as large trucks/fork-lifts) a plus but not required.
