Sales Arborist

About the position

The Sales Arborist at Ash Tree Enterprises is responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients while providing expert advice on tree care. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the company's growth in the urban forestry sector.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site assessments of trees and landscapes to evaluate health, safety, and aesthetics.
• Develop and present proposals for tree care services tailored to meet clients' needs and budgets.
• Provide accurate estimates for services including pruning, removals, planting, and treatments.
• Educate clients on tree care best practices and recommend appropriate services and treatments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, and municipal clients.
• Follow up on leads and referrals to generate new business opportunities.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, proposals, and service agreements.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Certified Arborist (ISA Certification preferred) or equivalent experience in arboriculture.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the tree care or landscaping industry.
• Strong knowledge of tree species, common diseases, and pest management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
