Our Volvo Westlake dealership in Thousand Oaks is seeking Sales Consultants. This is a great opportunity to take your automotive career to the next level. In this position, you will contribute to the success of Rusnak Group by successfully achieving sales goals and objectives relevant to the components of the Company's strategic plan.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, monitors, and adjusts sales goals with sales management to achieve personal and Company sales objectives.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds the goal of satisfying the transportation needs of Clients.
  • Proactively works with the Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, and/or General Manager to develop action plans to correct performance and meet sales goals.
  • Sells, leases, delivers a pre-agreed upon monthly minimum amount of vehicles.
  • Greets and offers assistance to all Clients that enter the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Assists each Client with selecting a vehicle by asking questions and matching their expectations with our vehicles.
  • Offers test drives to all Clients and follows Company policies regarding test drives.
  • Understands and follows all Company, local, state, and federal policies regarding automobile sales.
  • Explains depreciation and equity to Clients.
  • Ensures a member of the sales management team meets each Client.
  • Forwards all closed deals to the Finance and Insurance Manager with properly completed paperwork.
  • Ensures all sales orders are completed and processed according to Company policies.
  • Prepares sold vehicle for delivery prior to Client arrival.
  • Delivers vehicle to Client and explains operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Introduces Clients to Service Department Team and schedules first service appointment.
  • Follows up on all post delivery items to ensure Client satisfaction.
  • Maintains engagement with management and team members to foster successful working relationships.
  • Utilizes the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool effectively and maintains a Client follow up system.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sales Consultant or similar positions in Automotive, Retail, Sales, Hospitality industries.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • High School Diploma/GED : Desired
  • Valid CA Driver License
  • Valid CA Sales License
