As a Sales/Design Consultant at our award-winning flooring retail company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales. This part-time position requires you to work on the showroom floor, where you will facilitate customer selections and provide exceptional service by both selling products and addressing customer needs. Your responsibilities will include maintaining effective communication with clients and team members through email and telephone, ensuring that you build ongoing relationships with customers through frequent interactions. You will be responsible for keeping management informed by tracking leads through our online portal and submitting various reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with Project Managers, manufacturers' representatives, and scheduling and purchasing personnel to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire process. To maintain superior product knowledge, you will engage in both team and personal training sessions. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor, ensuring that the environment is welcoming and conducive to customer engagement.
