About the position

The Sales Development Representative 2 (SDR-2) at TEKsystems is responsible for executing initial steps in the sales process, focusing on building customer relationships and generating leads. This role involves extensive training and mentorship, with a clear path for career advancement to an Account Manager position. The SDR-2 will engage in research, outreach, and documentation of customer interactions to drive sales growth and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Research and build call sheets of targeted customers using tools like LinkedIn and resources including candidates and current consultants.
  • Document, track, and research all leads coming in from the Recruiter Lead Program.
  • Build overall customer profiles and talk tracks for each customer using tools like Seismic and Gong.
  • Perform outreach to a targeted customer list and document weekly activity.
  • Partner with the Director of Business Operations to identify lost customers and generate new meetings.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to research and analyze customer data effectively.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce and Hoovers.
