About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at OpenNMS is responsible for driving prospect engagement and managing sales opportunities for the company's network monitoring platform. This role requires a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate and build rapport with clients. The SDR will work closely with team members to execute various campaigns in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and support to prospective clients.

Responsibilities

  • Respond, engage, and qualify leads and inquiries as sales opportunities
  • Create and manage outbound prospect campaigns targeting specific verticals
  • Regularly track and manage lead and pipeline activity
  • Synthesize lead and pipeline trends while providing relevant data and insights
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize tactics to improve effectiveness
  • Proactively develop sales strategies and leverage insights to drive new opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Sales or Customer Success role
  • Healthcare industry knowledge is preferred
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) is preferred
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to collaborate with inter and cross-departmental team members
  • Effective problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Very good multitasking and organizational skills
  • High degree of personal organization and time management

  • Experience in the healthcare industry
