About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Corpay is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for outside sales Account Executives. This role is critical in the sales outreach process, focusing on prospect accounts and decision makers to build interest in Corpay's financial solutions. The SDR will act as an ambassador for the company, articulating its value proposition and engaging in cold-calling to help businesses modernize their finance operations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and create new qualified opportunities for outside sales Account Executives.
  • Manage direct outreach to build interest in Corpay solutions.
  • Utilize lead generation tools to generate targeted lists of contacts and strategic prospects.
  • Align sales development processes with email, phone, and social selling best practices.
  • Educate and demonstrate the importance of modernization and automation in Accounts Payable processes.
  • Execute appointment setting for outside sales Account Executive's demos, coordinating meeting details and relevant background information.
  • Exceed quota of outreach activity and qualified meetings held.

Requirements

  • High degree of persistence and self-confidence.
  • Comfort with cold calling and outreach activities.
  • Outgoing, energetic, and personable demeanor.
  • Concise, compelling, and professional communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize key opportunities.
  • Understanding of accounting operations or financial technology (fintech) products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Software as a Service (SAAS).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and/or Customer Service.
