About the position

The Sales Development Representative will play a crucial role in building a robust sales pipeline and managing the sales cycle from prospecting to conversion. This position involves significant outbound and inbound call activity, focusing on client satisfaction and repeat orders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of prospects.
  • Conduct outbound calls to identify and qualify new sales opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and customer service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Handle incoming calls from potential and existing customers.
  • Provide detailed product information and recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales & Marketing to achieve sales targets and goals.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Specialist or similar sales role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software for at least 1 year.
