About the position

Field Materials is on a mission to digitize and democratize construction material purchasing, aiming to become the commerce and financial technology backbone of the construction industry. We are looking for a Sales Director to hire and lead our sales team, providing a unique opportunity to grow into a sales executive role at a fast-growing startup. Responsibilities

  • Hire and lead the sales team
  • Take full ownership of the sales process and infrastructure
  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Motivate and inspire sales teams to exceed quotas
  • Utilize data to make informed decisions regarding sales processes
  • Rapidly develop and test multiple go-to-market strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • 5+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally in the construction industry
  • 2+ years of management experience in hiring and leading teams
  • Experience setting up sales processes and infrastructure (Salesforce, lists, cadences, lead scoring, etc.)
  • Track record in hiring and developing Sales Development representatives
  • Proven experience in prospecting via cold calling, email, and social selling
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire sales teams
