The Sales Engineer at Intuit plays a pivotal role in the pre-sales environment, working closely with the Mid-Market Sales Teams to understand the needs of business owners and provide technical demonstrations that advance the sales process. This position is integral to Intuit's strategy of disrupting the Small Business Mid-Market, as it involves equipping and supporting sales teams with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively position the QuickBooks Digital Ecosystem of products. The Sales Engineer will report to the Manager of the Sales Solutions Team, which is dedicated to driving revenue, enhancing product knowledge, and addressing sales learning needs across the organization. In this role, the Sales Engineer will architect complex value propositions that leverage the total portfolio of Intuit's offerings, key partners, and internal resources, all tailored to the specific context of the customer's industry. A concentrated focus will be placed on driving higher Average Revenue Per Customer through strategic cross-selling and upselling initiatives, utilizing custom demonstrations, sales plays, and webinars. The Sales Engineer will also participate in demand generation activities, including marketing and regional events, where they will present to both internal and external audiences. Collaboration is key in this position, as the Sales Engineer will engage with various stakeholders, including Sales Team Leaders, Product Marketing, Product Leadership, and third-party solution providers, to elevate the overall team approach in promoting Intuit's online ecosystem. They will also monitor internal communication channels to provide real-time product insights to the sales team, ensuring that they are well-informed and equipped to meet customer needs. Additionally, the Sales Engineer will capture and analyze data from customer feedback and employee insights to identify product gaps and training opportunities, ultimately developing strategies and resources that empower the sales teams to understand and convey the value of Intuit's products and services effectively.
