About the position

The Sales Lead at LOFT is responsible for providing exceptional client services while supporting the Store Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing store operations. This role includes acting as the Manager on Duty in their absence, handling client service issues, and ensuring compliance with company practices. The Sales Lead will also drive revenue by managing the client experience and coaching associates to maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client services and support the Store Manager and Co-Manager.
  • Operate as the Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager.
  • Perform operational and transactional functions, including opening and closing the store.
  • Handle client service issues and issue approvals for desk transactions.
  • Drive revenue by proactively managing the client experience.
  • Utilize tools to ensure a client-focused team environment.
  • Coach associates on client interactions and performance.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and bank deposits.
  • Utilize reports to make effective merchandising decisions.
  • Ensure optimal coverage and productivity in all areas of the store.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum six months Sales Associate experience with ANN INC. or equivalent experience.
  • Part-time or full-time managerial experience preferred.
  • Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of visual standards and techniques for merchandising.

  • Strong understanding of current market trends in fashion.
