About the position

The Sales & Leasing Agent at YES Communities plays a crucial role in the selling and leasing of homes within the community. This position involves working closely with a high-performing team to provide exceptional service to current and prospective renters and home buyers. The agent will leverage marketing skills to connect with potential residents and act as a liaison between various stakeholders, ensuring a smooth sales process and fostering community relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating sales and leasing operations such as prospect tracking, appointment scheduling, conducting tours, application assistance, third-party communications, and closings.
  • Advertise and generate leads through multiple avenues (phone calls, e-mail, social media, and physical delivery of flyers/promotions to residents, etc.).
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments, external entities, and the applicant.
  • Collaborate with the management team to monitor homes for move-in readiness.
  • Hold open houses/sales events as needed.
  • Organize resident events to promote YES culture and maintain relationships.
  • Attend all company meetings, trainings, and conferences as requested.
  • Additional duties assigned by management and are subject to change.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software products.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
  • Excels in a collaborative/team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
  • A valid in-state driver's license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior customer service/sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Must obtain state-specific sales licensing within 90 days of employment where applicable.
