About the position

The Sales Manager at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is responsible for driving pre-sold group business through targeted sales programs. This role involves interfacing with clients, managing group events, and ensuring a high-quality guest experience while upholding the ethical standards of the Andretti brand. The position offers a salary with significant commission opportunities and requires strong sales and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Team with targeted sales programs to drive pre-sold group business.
• Interface with clients on all aspects of group events, including site inspections, qualifying leads, menu selection, and contracts.
• Collaborate with the unit operations team to ensure successful execution of site events.
• Represent AIKG at hospitality and trade events.
• Process POS purchases and ensure a quality guest event experience.
• Build productive and trusting relationships with clients and guests.
• Identify business opportunities by researching and analyzing sales options.
• Achieve or exceed quarterly individual sales goals.
• Generate leads and follow up with prospects.

Requirements

• Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
• Experience with inbound sales.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Flexible work schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• At least 18 years of age.

Nice-to-haves

• Two years of sales experience in hospitality or a family entertainment center environment.
• Interest in and familiarity with virtual reality, arcade games, and motorsports.
• Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage all levels of staff.
