About the position

The Sales Manager at Warners Stellian Co Inc is responsible for overseeing the sales team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the presentation of the sales floor. This role involves motivating and training staff, managing sales processes, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assists customers with service questions and escalated issues.
  • Oversees cleanliness and presentation of the sales floor, including pricing and merchandise displays.
  • Reviews department reports and sales orders, following up with sales associates as needed.
  • Motivates associates to achieve sales and warranty goals through coaching and training.
  • Ensures timely collection of customer payments by team members.
  • Creates staff schedules to ensure proper store staffing.
  • Conducts monthly and annual associate reviews as directed.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements.
  • Performs duties of a Sales Associate when necessary.

Requirements

  • Extensive product knowledge to anticipate customer needs and recommend merchandise.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including active listening and empathy.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in work and documentation.
  • Ability to make judgment calls to assist customers fairly.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Thorough understanding of department processes and policies.
  • Appliance sales experience.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
