The Sales & Marketing Director plans and directs all aspects of the division's objectives, initiatives, policies, and strategies for marketing, retail sales, retail service, market research and analytics, public relations, communications, and website. This role serves as a liaison to the GVTC Foundation and oversees the retail sales function, ensuring that departmental employees, company pricing, and sales plans are organized to achieve maximum sales volume and profitability. The director develops and oversees marketing functions and analytics, identifies key marketing outlets, brand awareness, corporate image, and competitive strategies. Additionally, the role coordinates customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across all residential, commercial, business, and enterprise service areas. The director is responsible for developing and overseeing all aspects of retail customer service and order processes to meet the company's high standards and positioning statement of “Superior Customer Service” and “Dominating the Competition.” This position also involves gathering and analyzing market research and overseeing public relations and communications functions to ensure a positive image and proactive partnerships in the communities served. The director confers and collaborates with Business Development to manage and expand into new markets in support of the company's approved strategic plan.
