About the position

The Sales Operations Manager will lead the expansion of the residential energy storage system at Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. This role is focused on developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth while managing the day-to-day operations of the sales team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of sales processes and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the purchase order and order processing by working with business planning team, SCM team & sales team.
  • Communicate and follow up with customers (distributors, installers) and internal sales team for purchase orders to achieve the monthly target.
  • Manage and operate the pricing with customers (distributors). System SPA (Special Price Agreement) upload to shared Excel sheet and EDI system (Boomi), create SPA documents.
  • Manage PSI operation: Sales volume (result & forecast) sharing to procurement team to make PSI plan and operate smoothly.
  • Manage and report 'Sell-out data' and 'customers' inventory data' by collecting POS data or sell out data from distributors.
  • Support direct sales activity by attending distributors' event (Counter day, workshop, etc) in Southern CA area with sales & marketing team (one to five days per month).
  • Create ESS newsletter and release to the customers via e-mail (weekly or bi-weekly), manage the mailing list by working with sales team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and engineering, to ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions to customers.
  • Assist the Head of System Sales in developing strategic initiatives to drive sales growth and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present reports and analyses to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as business, marketing, and/or finance preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Administration, Sales Operations, Data Analysis, Product Marketing, or within the Solar Industry.
  • Proven track record in creating and implementing SOPs, standardizing workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, innovative strategic thinker with a passion for driving results, and a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Proficient in multitasking and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to develop innovative solutions.
  • Proficient in using office productivity software like Google Workspace, Salesforce.
  • Experienced in utilizing data analysis and visualization tools, including spreadsheets and business intelligence software.
  • Excel in data management, pulling reports, and managing reports using Power Point.
  • Proven ability in managing multiple projects, daily sales operations and administrative action items with a proactive mindset.
