About the position

As a Sales Operations Specialist at BambooHR, you will play a crucial role in enabling an efficient sales system that maximizes revenue and supports the sales teams. Your primary responsibilities will include providing tactical support, managing sales support requests, and assisting with operational projects. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of sales processes, particularly in a SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist selling teams with various sales support/admin requests and tactical work.
• Manage and respond to a constant flow of ad-hoc sales support tickets/chats.
• Identify ticket themes and patterns to recommend or develop solutions that reduce volume over time.
• Document standard operating procedures and system instructions in the company wiki to enable self-servability.
• Complete sales system maintenance and administrative tasks, including provisioning/deprovisioning sales rep accounts and updating lead distribution pools.
• Contribute to project work and strategic initiatives driven by other Sales Ops Managers.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of sales, operations, or project management experience (SaaS environment preferred).
• General knowledge of sales processes.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (as an end user or backend admin).
• Intermediate Excel skills for data manipulation.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making approach.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
