About the position

The Sales Operations Specialist at WEI plays a crucial role in supporting the internal sales activities to enhance the productivity of the sales organization. This position involves collaborating with various teams to transition sales data into operational data, manage quotes and orders, and ensure efficient workflow between sales and operations. The specialist will monitor processes for errors and efficiencies, ensuring accurate data handling throughout the order processing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, and returns (RMA's)
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Facilitate expedite requests
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to vendors, customers, and management
• Exhibit advanced proficiency with internal tools, workflows, and processes
• Drive continuous improvement and successful workflows and processes
• Liaise with sales and operational teams for timely resolution of issues
• Develop, implement, and optimize workflows, tools, reports, and processes
• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
• Research required data
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
• 2-5 years of experience in inside sales, sales operations, sales support, or order management
• Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a matrix organizational environment
• Ability to handle changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CRM software, specifically Tigerpaw
• Laboratory experience
