About the position

The Sales Ops Lead for CPS Sales at Amazon Business is a pivotal role within a rapidly expanding $35 billion global business. This position focuses on innovating and disrupting the B2B purchasing and procurement landscape by acting as a Product Owner and Program Manager. The role involves collaborating with internal and external customers to gather business requirements, drive core sales operations processes, and analyze sales mechanisms for optimal performance. The Sales Ops Lead will also support annual planning activities and develop actionable insights to enhance business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Product Owner and Program Manager on programs or products implemented by Sales Operations.
  • Work with internal and external customers to gather and document business requirements and user stories.
  • Propose solutions, evaluate feasibility, technology assessment, ROI, and complexity for various process and system solutions.
  • Drive core Sales Operations processes including Territory Planning, Quota Development, and Sales Performance Management.
  • Partner with internal technical teams to design and implement sales operations solutions.
  • Analyze sales processes for sub-optimal performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify root causes of problems and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  • Model and simulate improvements to existing business processes.
  • Support annual planning activities and develop actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
  • Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of finance, business management, and sales operations experience.
  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company.
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
