About the position

As a Sales - P&C Insurance Producer at JobGiraffe, you will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our independent commercial insurance agency serving the Chicagoland area. This position offers a hybrid work-from-home schedule after initial training, which will be conducted in the office. You will be responsible for managing a group of existing accounts, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively. Your primary focus will be on developing new business opportunities while providing exceptional service to current clients. In this role, you will communicate with clients through various channels, including phone, email, video conferencing, and in-person meetings. You will identify and qualify new business development opportunities, engage with key decision-makers, and tailor insurance solutions to meet the unique needs of each client. Additionally, you will assist clients in the policy selection process, onboard new customers, and provide ongoing support to ensure their satisfaction. Your responsibilities will also include facilitating policy renewals, making updates to customer account information, and collaborating with an in-house customer service team to streamline customer service processes. You will be expected to upsell and cross-sell additional products as appropriate, ensuring that clients are aware of all available options to enhance their coverage. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in P&C insurance and a passion for sales and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Join an independent commercial insurance agency serving Chicagoland.
  • Be assigned a group of existing accounts.
  • Build relationships and trust with your assigned accounts.
  • Communicate by phone, email, video conference and through in-person consultation.
  • Identify and qualify new business development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Property & Casualty License IL
  • Insurance Producer's License
  • 5 Years of P&C Insurance experience
  • Zoom experience
  • Microsoft Teams experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
