This role focuses on driving business development and enhancing customer relationships in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
- Drive business development and achieve sales targets.
- Develop and improve customer relationships at all levels.
- Manage multiple sales projects and ensure deadlines are met.
- Coach and coordinate with internal project teams and external sales representatives.
- Apply product knowledge to provide value-added solutions for customers.
- Work on the manufacturing floor to understand processes and apply technology to customer solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Proven negotiation and deal-making skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information and create change in a team setting.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in agriculture, construction, commercial vehicle, power sports, lawn & garden, forestry, horticulture, building efficiencies, furniture or appliance products.
- Proven self-directed project management skills.
- Familiarity with product development, launch, quoting, and price negotiation.
