About the position
The Sales Associate position involves providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. The role includes processing transactions, assisting with store operations, and maintaining the store's appearance. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers courteously and process transactions efficiently.
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and computers to itemize and total purchases.
- Collect payments and make change for cash transactions, balancing the drawer at the end of the shift.
- Assist with store stocking and setting up floor-sets.
- Help maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the retail area.
- Deliver customer purchased products and repairs as required by management.
Requirements
- 1 year of sales experience (preferred).
- 1 year of landscape industry knowledge (preferred).
- Fluency in English and Spanish (required).
