About the position

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for managing nCino as it's built on the Salesforce platform. This includes configuration, maintenance, and optimizing the nCino Bank Operating System, ensuring it's tailored to meet the organization's banking and financial services needs. This role involves supporting end-users, managing system updates, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance business processes within the nCino platform.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize the nCino platform, including loan lifecycle management, workflow automation, Salesforce features such as objects, fields, page layouts, and validation rules, document management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day support to nCino users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems. Conduct end user training sessions and create documentation to ensure proper usage.
  • Manage the integration of data into and out of nCino including data imports, exports, and regular data maintenance tasks (e.g. deduplication, updating records), oversee data integrity, quality and consistency.
  • Manage user permissions, profiles, roles, and security settings to ensure that data privacy and access controls are maintained.
  • Design and implement automated workflows, approvals, and tasks using nCino's built-in tools, ensuring streamlined operations across departments like lending, risk, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics within the nCino platform to provide insights into loan performance, operational efficiency, and compliance.
  • Ensure that nCino configurations align with legal, regulatory, and security requirements. Manage user roles, permissions, and data security protocols to protect sensitive financial data.
  • Monitor, test, and implement nCino & Salesforce system updates, patches, and new features, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to business operations.
  • Collaborate with IT, business teams, and vendors to integrate nCino with other enterprise systems (e.g. core banking system) and resolve any technical issues related to integrations.
  • Stay informed of new features and functionality with Salesforce and nCino and the broader financial services technology landscape. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance platform performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS or IT related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) and/or nCino Certified Administrator highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator and/or nCino administrator or in a similar role.
  • Experience with Salesforce, as nCino is built on the Salesforce platform, including knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Knowledge of the nCino platform, including its modules for loan origination, servicing, document management, and workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with banking processes, lending workflows, and financial products such as commercial and consumer loans, credit, risk, and compliance is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce tools such as Workflow, Process Builder, Lightening, and Flow.
  • Experience with data management, security models, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange applications and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must have a solution mindset, project-oriented, desire to learn and upskill, dynamic and adapt to change well.
  • Must be able to thrive in a hands-on, focused, productive, and team-oriented environment.
