As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will be a member of the Aperture Digital Transformation Practice, which supports federal government clients. As a part of the Digital Transformation team, you will help clients implement modern IT and automated business solutions ensuring they meet the expected quality standards. You will be responsible for developing a solid connection between the customers' and developers' operational and business needs. This role involves working with system stakeholders to identify business, functional, and system requirements, conducting system testing, supporting the development and execution of stakeholder communication plans and system documentation, and serving as a pivotal contributor to the implementation of Salesforce applications. In this position, you will support meetings with system owners and other stakeholders to gather business requirements. You will analyze these requirements, accurately translating them into functional and technical requirements for the development team. Continuous refinement of the documented requirements in collaboration with the development team will be essential. You will develop detailed test plans, including test objectives, scope, and schedule, in alignment with project goals and timelines. Additionally, you will create and manage test cases and scripts based on business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. Coordination with development teams to ensure test cases cover all aspects of the software application or system under test will be part of your responsibilities. You will execute test cases manually or using automated tools, documenting test results and defects clearly and organized. Conducting regression testing to validate fixes and ensure no new issues arise during the development lifecycle will also be part of your role. Participation in defect triage meetings to prioritize and resolve issues identified during testing, working closely with developers and other stakeholders, will be crucial. Lastly, you will perform stakeholder engagement and outreach activities to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.
