About the position

As the Salesforce Developer, the candidate will learn to implement solutions focused on the Salesforce platform. The candidate will work with other developers and lead engineers to customize Salesforce by creating VF Pages, Lightning components, Apex Classes, triggers, flows, test classes, etc. The candidate will enhance and maintain the Sales Cloud and Steelbrick implementation, taking into account the right balance between declarative vs programmatic development as well as Salesforce governor limits and best practices. The candidate will work on one of the larger and more complex Salesforce implementations with lots of opportunities to learn new aspects of Salesforce, gain valuable experience, and make a huge impact in a fast-growing company. Sales Cloud is part of Salesforce that helps in managing leads, customers, and Sales. Steelbrick provides CPQ functionality that helps the Sales Reps do their job efficiently by simplifying the quote creation process. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to learn and implement the new changes and improvements in the Force.com platform. The candidate will make a big impact in this highly visible role by customizing the solution on Salesforce, which includes but is not limited to Opportunity Management, Territory Management, Sales Forecasting, Quoting, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Implement solutions focused on the Salesforce platform.
  • Customize Salesforce by creating VF Pages, Lightning components, Apex Classes, triggers, flows, test classes, etc.
  • Enhance and maintain the Sales Cloud and Steelbrick implementation.
  • Balance declarative vs programmatic development while considering Salesforce governor limits and best practices.
  • Work on complex Salesforce implementations with opportunities to learn and gain experience.
  • Customize solutions on Salesforce for Opportunity Management, Territory Management, Sales Forecasting, Quoting, etc.

Requirements

  • 6 plus years relevant experience in Salesforce development
  • Experience in customizing Salesforce with Apex, Lightning, REST, JavaScript, CSS, and SOQL
  • Strong web programming skills (HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, XML)
  • Ability to write clean code
  • Strong Object Oriented programming skills
  • Knowledge on Cloud computing
  • Strong logical reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's in sciences or equivalent technical degree is mandatory.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or CPQ
  • Good to have Salesforce CPQ certification
  • Salesforce Training would be a great plus
  • Experience with quoting and territory management.
