About the position

The position involves providing customizations and integrations using the Salesforce toolset as requested by clients. The role requires supporting the current team in building cohesive, streamlined, and quality solutions while defining technical best practices for implementation. Participation in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices is essential. The candidate will utilize their expertise in various design patterns and integration options, including native Salesforce.com APIs and external solutions, to help build reusable code for future projects. Daily operational tasks on the project will also be part of the responsibilities, including taking complete ownership of exception management, which involves analyzing and resolving billing and enrollment exceptions. Additionally, the role includes supporting and troubleshooting production issues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide client requested customizations and integrations using the Salesforce toolset.
• Support the current team in building cohesive, streamlined, and quality solutions.
• Define technical best practices for the implementation.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Utilize expertise in various design patterns and integration options, including native Salesforce.com APIs and external solutions.
• Help build reusable code for future projects.
• Work on daily operational tasks on the project.
• Take complete ownership of exception management, including analysis and resolution of billing and enrollment exceptions.
• Support and troubleshoot production issues as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to design, configure/develop, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions based on client requirements.
• Work on customization, creation, and maintenance of record types, page layouts, objects, fields, formulas, and data validation rules.
• Maintain active user accounts, adding and removing profiles, roles, and permission sets.
• Work with SOQL & SOSL in combination with Apex classes and triggers.
• Work with Apex batch jobs for bulk data manipulation needs while considering governor limits.
• Act as Salesforce QA, prepare test cases in JIRA, and test application functionality in Salesforce.
• Implement Single Sign-On on Force.com.
• Manage Salesforce Org backups manually and via automated tools.
• Perform various Salesforce administration tasks such as reports, dashboards, workflow rules, and field updates.
• Use custom tools like Apex data loader for handling DML operations on data.
• Create technical documents and test case documents to track changes.
• Conduct unit and integration testing for new requirements and obtain UAT from the business owner.
• Perform code migrations between Sandbox, QA, UAT & Production Orgs using Change Sets and Eclipse.
• Modify existing code inside Salesforce while adhering to governor limits before deployment into Production.
• Develop web services to get/put data from/to web applications developed in .NET.
• Integrate with Dell Boomi and SQL Server through Progress DataDirect.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Salesforce toolset and Force.com platform features.
• Experience with SOQL, SOSL, and Apex programming.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce customization and administration tasks.
• Ability to define and implement technical best practices.
• Experience in code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Knowledge of integration options with Salesforce, including APIs and external solutions.
• Experience with Salesforce Org backups and data management tools like Apex data loader.
• Familiarity with JIRA for test case preparation and tracking.
• Experience in unit and integration testing and obtaining UAT from business owners.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Dell Boomi integration.
• Familiarity with .NET web application development.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Flows and Process Builder.
• Experience with automated testing tools for Salesforce.
