About the position
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for various aspects of a global Salesforce instance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking part in the build, deploy, and support of all processes across the Salesforce.com technology suite across the 3M environment. This position requires knowledge of the 3M platform, development processes and implementing global IT applications. The applicant will need to collaborate with onsite and offsite teams to ensure proper delivery of solutions. The developer will be responsible for participating in daily scrum calls, leveraging knowledge of Salesforce components to solve technical problems, developing new functionality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure fast performance of the Salesforce.com website.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the build, deploy, and support of Salesforce processes.
- Collaborate with onsite and offsite teams for solution delivery.
- Participate in daily scrum calls.
- Leverage knowledge of Salesforce components to solve technical problems.
- Develop new functionality and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure fast performance of the Salesforce.com website.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of development and/or functional experience on the Salesforce Platform.
- In-depth understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the Salesforce platform.
- Strong technical foundation in APEX, Force.com, .Net, Java, and relational database concepts.
- Understanding of web services and technologies for data transport in an enterprise environment.
- Certified Salesforce Developer and Advanced Developer preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Communities, Service Cloud, and Omni channel.
- Experience with MuleSoft, Flosum, and Telephony/InContact.
