About the position
The SAP Data Solutions Delivery Consultant is responsible for leading strategic and tactical data initiatives, including data quality assessments and analytics for various customers. This role involves coordinating data quality services, creating project plans, and effectively communicating with customers to understand their data requirements. The consultant will analyze customer data, provide guidance on improvements, and develop best practice recommendations, while also leading initiatives for process improvements and new data-related services.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead strategic and tactical data initiatives like data quality assessments and analytics.
- Coordinate data quality-related services such as data cleansing and collection.
- Create project plans and coordinate workshops for effective communication and issue resolution.
- Interact with customers to understand their specific data requirements and translate them into comprehensive data solutions.
- Lead the analysis of customer data and provide guidance on improvements and data corrections.
- Develop best practice recommendations for data management.
- Lead initiatives aimed at process improvements and automation under GDS leadership.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with customers.
- Ability to lead and provide guidance to team members for data solution implementations.
- Knowledge and experience in master data management and data standards.
- Functional knowledge of SAP Modules like SD, MM, PP & FICO.
- Experience with Data Management and Analytics tools from SAP or comparable non-SAP solutions.
- Technical coding skills in ABAP, SQL, JavaScript, and programming languages like JAVA or Python.
- Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Business, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with SAP Data Services, SAP Information Steward, MDG, SAP Data Intelligence, and SAP Analytics Cloud/DWC.
- Familiarity with data quality management processes.
