SAP Implementation Project Manager

About the position

At Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) empowerment comes naturally. As a part of the IT Innovation & Strategy function you will have a key role in driving and coordinating projects for Scandinavian Tobacco Group, North America, as part of our SAP/S4HANA global ERP implementation. As part of this process, you will work with the senior stakeholders and core project team members, leading execution as a project manager on certain projects. The range of projects focuses mostly on digital and functional topics (IT, commercial, operational, etc.). You will contribute with professional sparring on project management, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, resource management, and cross-collaboration with project team members. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing timelines, work breakdown structures and staying within project scope and budget. Our team is based in Copenhagen, and you will be reporting directly to Head of IT Portfolio Management Office in North America.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedule, budget, and monitoring expenditures
• Develop and maintain all required project management materials followed by guidelines
• Manage scope, resources, timelines, costs/budget, quality, communication, and procurements to meet the goals of the project
• Ensure that project plans and schedules are established and maintained, ensuring that deliverables are completed timely and accurately
• Establish project governance, conduct formal presentations, coordinating with all project stakeholders, and ensuring that appropriate project controls are instituted
• Work with personnel within various teams that are responsible for the systems to develop necessary project management, change management, risk management, rollout, and training plans
• Work with cross-functional business teams to develop stakeholder communication plans to train and/or reach program participants
• Drive business analysis to support decision-making on various opportunities identified across organization
• Support business areas with strategic analysis and sparring
• This position will be responsible for working with senior-level business executives, IT personnel, business program resources, and vendor staff to execute project requirements and manage stakeholder expectations
• Work directly with the IT Portfolio Management Office and support STG IT projects, collaborating with other project managers, and creating material on project performance

Requirements

• You have a proven track record of project management. Technical or digital projects are bonuses.
• You work in a systematic, structured and analytical way
• You understand financial reporting and corporate finance
• You are experienced in project managing large teams
• You find an inner ignite in project management but also you take great pride in the execution
• You are motivated by navigating between many internal stakeholders in an international organization
• Analytical mindset and ability to work with Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office programs
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
